Eemshaven is located on the west bank of the Eems, an estuary heading for the Dutch and German border. It is a wide area with ample deep water, excellent for some quality sailing! A visit to Borkum could be one of the possibilities, depending upon tidal influences. Another possibility could be to head for Termunterzijl, an old fishermen's village in the neighbourhood.
Eemshaven has a lot of possibilities for trips, exploring the tidal flats is possible, but some active sailing on the broad estuary is great as well. One of the many options is set out in a timetable below, however, this is merely an option. Trips can be adjusted to your preferences in consultation with us.
